Lmao, People are way too defensive sometimes... I Agree with CitySnipers statement that someone who has shot both guns could give a better comparison than someone who's only shot one.

Back onto tpats.. I'm also in the same boat as you so to speak.  I'm debating between the .22Disco and .22 MRod.  I have all .177 caliber air rifles and the .22 mrod at 800-900 fps has much more energy than my .177 for hunting.   I don't have any fill tanks or pumps so i'd be buying all the equiment upfront for PCP.  It's alot more $$ than owning a springer...

The Marauder fills easily with a Hill pump. Maybe as easy with the Discovery pump but I have not used one so I don't know.

Not difficult to fill it after 40 shots. Same with our Evanix Blizzard. Both fill without any problems and the pumping isn't difficult.

There is definately a different 'splat' when a varmint is hit with the .22 Calibre pellet than the .177 Calibre pellet. Fewer marginal shots with the animal crawling off to die.

I'm thinking I should get the disco first because it comes with the hand pump and I can improve it through aftermarket products for not a whole lot of dough.  I figure that I'll also be able to buy adapters for other PCP's if the darkside suits my fancy.  How much stuff is necessary to operate a scuba tank system?
