Is your B-21 pellet fussy?
« on: May 29, 2010, 08:53:52 AM »
Mine sure is.  I have tried several of the RWS line in this gun and it didn't group better than 3" at 50' with any one of them, not even Meisterkugelns.  Guess what it does like?  Crosman Copperheads, which I am not even sure are still available in .22.  I had an old, plastic box lying around, that I bought at a mom n' pop store years ago.  They are wadcutters, and grouped about 1" at 50', just fine for open sights and shooting birds/pests.  Other B-21 owners, what pellets are giving you good accuracy results?

My B21 in .22 cal. loves H&N Hollow Points

Easy keeps inside of an inch at 50 yards
I don\'t drive fast I just fly low

Really.  I would shudder to think what sort of groups my gun would produce at 50 yards.  I thought an inch (give or take) at 50 feet was about as good as it was going to get, with open sights.  You are likely a better shot than I, but I'll see if I can find some H&Ns to try.
