What scope would you use on one? do you think a leapers would work?

Leapers should be fine. I use a Tech Force Scope on mine. It came with the TF89 combo. I don't care much for the rifle, but the scope is actually pretty nice. Been on the M54 for several months and hasn't missed a beat.

I would get the one rated for high recoil and has the best warranty service...my first choice being Hawke. Although their optical quality on the Airmaxseries to me are not the best, their customer service is great. I love my Bushnell Legend 5-15X 40 AO but these are being phased out which is stupid. These scopes are wonderfully sharp and bright and rated for high recoil. Customer service I have never had to use so I can't comment on that part.
