I'd guess sparrows taste pretty good.  I've noticed, however, that my cats don't touch the blackbirds.  I had to get this pic in order quick, since they wanted the sparrows.  Anyone noticed similar responses?

Just great!  Now I'll feel guilty about not refinishing the thing.  Actually, the pistol grip doesn't feel quite right, so I'm wondering about stripping it and getting out the file for a gentle reshaping.  Earlier today, an older friend gave me a no longer used/wanted Daisy 2001.  Haven't checked it yet for leaks, but the little 35-pellet magazine is quite clever, and seems to function.  There is at least one pellet in the chamber.  Tomorrow I'll get some CO2 & see what I have.   Very lightweight plastic forearm, though.
