Geeezz it's hot. It
« on: August 01, 2006, 09:44:49 AM »
was 100.4 degrees here in Simpsonville, SC at about 4 pm today. Will someone turn the thermostat down a little please?? We're just  not accustomed to that around here.

Bob,

I'd feel sorry for ya', pal. except for one thing...........

I live about two long blocks from Doheny Beach and Dana Point Harbor.  I can see the ocean from my house.

Here in Southern California, living by the beach is supposed to pretty much guarantee no 100+ degree days, but last week and the week before it was over a hundred virutally every day... Even the day it rained!

Miserable enough if it were a "dry heat" but it wasn't.  Heat plus very high humidity makes things that much more unbearable.

On second thought, Bob, having been through what you're going through, I DO feel sorry for you!!

Hope you get relief.  It was 76 today here.  What a difference 30 degrees makes!

cooled off a little today although it started off hot. We got a little of some very much needed rain and it cooled it off some but boy is it muggy now. A couple of hours ago it was 96 degrees. When the sun comes back out it will be really nasty then.

Ole' Rabbit there lives in Brevard up in the mountains about an hour or so from me and he sets pretty most of the time. But.... when winter comes, it's my turn...lol...
