« on: June 17, 2007, 01:05:59 PM »
Having trouble getting my bsquare 17701 1pc adj high mount to fit properly on the convex rounded shape of the grooved receiver.  Bsquare 17701 is flat on the bottom.

I'm using an Accushot 1 piece medium high on mine, Dave, and it hasn't moved a bit.

Accushot high mounts.  I took the scope stop off the SIK and found a hole into the receiver under it.  The built in scope stop in the Accushot mount drops right in and positions the mount pretty far aft which is perfect for where I need the scope to sit.  I have these mounts on most of my guns and have not had a problem yet.

I've used the same mounts on Shadows that I've used on virtually every other spring-piston rifle I've owned over the last 26 years -Beeman 5030M 2 pc mounts (or the British SportsMatch equivalent, which are the same thing in a different and sometimes a-few-bucks-cheaper package) which are backed with the discontinued Beeman "Professional Series" scope stop on rifles like the older Shadows we've had in our household which lack a hole for the recoil stop pin in the rear ring mount.

They didn't budge on mine a bit when I owned it and put 9,000 shots on it, and they haven't budged since giving the rifle to my brother-in-law.  Dittos for my wife's Shadow, which we still have in the household.

On the wife's Shadow, we're using these mounts to attach a Wal-Mart sourced Bushnell 4-12 Sportsman A.O. scope.  The only time we've had to rezero is after swapping in CdT's excellent trigger.
