Gamo part identification....
« on: June 29, 2007, 03:29:21 AM »
Some time ago I had my Gamo Shadow tuned (person will remain unidentified) and this person did a very good job.  The Gamo's velocity was increased and is much quiter.

But there was still one problem with my finely tune Gamo.

When the Gamo was being reassembled, the tuner forgot to reinstall the scope stop.

After a phone call and resent remined email, 5 weeks later still no part return.

So with that in mind I would really appreciate if someone could please tell me what size the screw is that used to mount the scope stop.

I can make the scope stop plate at work, but I do not think it would be wise to carry my airgun into the hardware store to try and find a new mounting screw.

Anyone help out here.

Thanks

If it's the same as a Quest (which I believe it is), it's a 4mm bolt. You should be able to get one at a hardware store, although you may have to get a longer one and cut it shorter.
