Bill,

:0 I have been searching the internet for several days trying to find information, instructions, manuals on this trigger or a similar one with no success.  I understand what you said in your post, but I need to know which is which?  Does a clockwise turn increase/decrease the amount of travel on the 1st stage?

I have found this forum and one in NZ both to be the most "new user" friendly.  Thank you all for the help and kind advice.

Gene,

not sure why, but Umarex.com does not have the Hammerli Titan listed as a rifle they carry.  This is interesting in that on the barrel Umarex is listed as the POC for help and questions.  I have continued to ask and seek information on adjusting the trigger and the screws.  Bill gave some help, but I don't know which screw controls what action and what turning it will do?  I have asked several times without a reply.  The Umarex site only has the instruction manual for all Hammerli rifles and it is very limited.

Sorry for offending anyone,

Brody

Brody Ok there are three adjustments.. if you are looking down on the trigger body with barrel going to your left. The furthest to the right adjusts tension. Next one to the left which sits in the trigger itself is second stage adjustment. The the next screw to the left of the second stage adjustment is for your first stage travel. I have mine with very little first stage travel and the second one set lite. Hope that helps Brody.

:) Gene,  yes that helps, thank you so much.  Now I feel a bit more confident to begin to reduce the pull a bit.

So far this rifle sees to shoot pretty well.  I shot some RWS Superdome last night and was getting some fairly tight groups at over 50' (1.5" CTC).

Thank you again.  Brody

I was surprised at the feel of the Titan. It is very solid and no twang to speek of. More surprised because of the very long spring and top hat that was inside. The spring had I think 46 coils and was about the same O/D as a regular Gamo. With the trigger set to a light pull, it makes for great accuracy... When you adjust your trigger, turn the screws just like a quarter of a turn either way at a time. And what really makes that trigger nice is a tune on it..:)

Good Luck

Enjoyed the review gene

The mechanics of that gun sure seem simple and to the point.

I really cannot remember. Witha good Accushot 1 piece mount it should be good to go. I wanna think it did have one but I have sold it since this review.I plan on relplacing it soon. MidSouth has them for $104.00 I think..:)

I am planning to get one. I have made many communication already with Sandra. She is telling she cannot ship scope which comes along with. She can only ship the weapon to India. She will not discount. If any of you need one free scope, let me know. I shall be more than happy.

By the way Gene, what seal did you use. Can you tell me the source? I will have a problem with such long main spring to get. Do you think b26 could be good idea to buy or this one?

It has been a while but the picture indicates an Apex seal but I do not know if it is the small or large. Some of the actions are over sized and I remember I had to find another source for the seal but do not remember where. I lost my notes on it.
