OK Jeff... I just couldn't stand it... so
« on: July 24, 2007, 12:08:12 PM »
I got Mikey makin' me one too. :)  I ordered it last week in .22.  8)  Not sure just exactly why but when I saw the pics of yours, I just had to have one. I talked to him today and he says it may ship tomorrow.

Now keep in mind, I already have 4 other QB's... a stock QB T model, a CJ tuned 78 that has had the works done to it and I mean everything, and it was the last one that he did before he retired out of the business, a slightly modded 78 as well as a stock 78  The only thing that I have done to the stock one is some trigger work. The other 78 is bottle fed...ain't been weaned yet... :p  Also, I've been kicking around the idea of going HPA with the T model.

Kinda tough keepin' up wit da Jones' sumtimez...lol... :D

I'm feeling your pain Bob. I try not to stare at the pictures to long or my mind starts to try and figure out ways to come up with the money for my next addictive purchase.

...out my "fun" over a longer time period.  Believe I've too many co2 rifles (if that's possible) and want to convert one to HPA.

But it's summer time, and the co2 is easy....working so well right now, I'm going to keep them as they are. Should just start to cool down come October, so working on a HPA conversion then would get me ready for winter.  No big rush...picking up bits and pieces as I can.  Figure this could keep me out of trouble for about 6 months.

So...why not enjoy it as a co2 rifle...really wring it out...and as the weather changes, can count it as a "cabin feaver" project.

And what Bob did not tell you in his post was that the CJ QB .22, was shooting over 850fps with hpa when Tim came over to his house one night to show us all the tricks to coverting those QB's back and fourth from summer shooters to winter shooters.

Hey Bob, glad to hear you ordered one, and  a .22 at that :)

I must go down in the workshop and take those guns out 5 times a day and look at them, they're just so beautiful...   Believe it or not I still haven't even shot them yet, been to busy working,,,, but only 3 more days of work left then I'll get to take em to the duck farm and do some huntin :)

Enjoy the new shooter Bob, lookin forward to some pics   :)
