QB78 Questions

I recieved my Mike Melick tuned QB78 Deluxe last week with the Microfit Stock. I got them through Ken aka Digit. He provides an excellent service to us airgunners in New Zealand. I've been very busy finishing the stock off and haven't even put a single shot through it yet. I have a couple questions about it. Do I still need to clean the barrel or would Mike have already done it? The other is there is a number stamped on the owners manual. #55. Is that stamped on at the factory or is that the number of that particular rifle that Mike has done? The numbers probably confused me more than anything else. I don't usually get manuals with numbers stamped on them.

..that what you have stamped on the cover of the manual is a 5.5 rather than a 55.  At least that's what's on the cover of the one manual I can find (and the 5.5 would be metric  for .22).

Won't hurt the put a patch though the barrel...if it comes out dirty, then clean it.  Even if it was cleaned before shipping, I'd bet it has attracted some random "funk" in transit.

Thats what I originaly thought it could be but then I also thought Mike could put no's. to keep track of the tunes he does. If your manual has the same number then that must be what it is.

Hello Andre,
Funny thing is Andre that all three of my manuals, two .22 and one .177 have the calibre stamped on them BUT the manuals are all the same covering both calibres....strange. Have fun shooting.

Alan
