Got my replacement rifle today
« on: September 13, 2007, 07:46:48 AM »
I sold my .22 cal. AA S410Hclassic PCP and took the delivery of it's replacement this afternoon. I decided I didn't care for the bigger caliber , I shoot more paper and steel than live critters and the .177 suits me better . Anyway the .22 was tearing up my backstop in my yard. See , you guys didn't even know I'd pushed the button again .That's a sign of addiction, trying to keep it a secret ; hehehe . Well I've got her cleaned up and sighted in, in the garage , because it's raining here this afternoon . I'll take some pictures tomorrow afternoon and show her off. kirby

I don't feel like I need to try all of them out there , just most of them. heeheehehe !!!!!  :D  :)  :p  anyway if all of you lived closer, we could just borrow each other's rifle and we wouldn't have to buy so many. kirby

I know what you mean, I sat on the front porch after lunch and waited for the Fedex guy to show up; watching the rain move in. kirby

Pics and review coming

Pictures when this badly need rain we're getting is over , along with a review . For a clue to the identity , she's been added to my signature. hehehe. FWIW; I only thought I had shot the smoothest springer I'd ever hold with the TX200HC. I've put a 100 pellets through her today , most at 6 meters indoors . I did manage 4 or 5 shots at 30 yards to finish sighting her in and all I can say is wow. I only hope my HC doesn't get jealous or feel neglected for a while.  kirby

Bill , I do keep a few along the way . I wish I could keep more . I Have to finance the new ones some way. I can see myself settling down a little. 3 out of my last 4 are still with me. Of course they're all 4 months old or less . And I've had my HW30 for almost a year ! I really think I've found the perfect springer in the TX200's . They are a little on the heavy side , but they shoot almost as good as a PCP. They have some beautiful wood and feel like a rifle should to me. kirby
