I had just finished up replying to Sandman's fine hunt on the squirrel and got up to get a cup of java. Went to the kitchen and was pouring myself a strong cup and also scanning the fort for intruders when this guy appeared from the field and planted himself on my fence post. My BlackWallnut tree is dropping nut's so their coming from every direction. I know from my laundryroom window/ hunting blind to the fence post is twentyfive yard's, my target board sit's at the fenceline hehe. Well I had squirrel last night, the little lady had Dove so I needed to stockup and with that thought I grabbed one of my proven hunter's. I pulled out the B26-2 and decided to put a Gamo Magnum in her and I settled in at the window. He hadn't moved but was scanning the area looking for danger but by that time I had already set the crosshairs on the sweetspot and popped the safety off. Relaxe and squeeze, the impact knocked him off the pole and with a few second's of quiver's he was finished. The Magnum found it's mark , a hair below the ear so I took a pic for our fellow hunters, cleaned my game and placed him in the icebox with a smile. Ed
