Value of a new R7 stock

I take delivery of my new R7 tomorrow. I'm going to have a custom stock made for it and would like to sell the stock that comes on it to help fund my custom stock. This will be the newer style stock that covers the barrel block . How much is it worth? kirby

Beech wood 75-85. Walnut 100-125. Just my guess. I know the custom stocks are expensive. Call Beeman and see if they sell just the stock and what they charge and go from there.

Thanks Jason , that's about what I was thinking . I posted this over on the yellow and some guy said $35, I was thinking of asking $75 . I thought that was fair. kirby

I asked Paul Watts this question recently, and he replied "you can usually find them for around forty bucks".

I asked because my HW30 was broken in half by UPS on its way to visit Paul. I was hoping I could keep the barrel and action, but UPS spirited the whole mess away when they paid up the insurance. So,the  bottom line is that some lower level functionary at UPS may want your stock....

I took the insurance money and what I had budgeted for the PW tune and bought a R7. It arrived last weekend, and I'm loving it. You will love yours too.
