My PDL pellets arrived yesterday and I tried them out today in my Quest 1000. The first thing I noticed was the back ream of the pellet was all that made good contact with the barrel. The doomed end fell in the barrel and the rear of the pellet held it in place. All the pellets were the same, very consistant. Do they fit this way in all barrels? As far as how well they performed in the gun, I shoot 50 shoots at 25 yards and placed 35 of them inside the 7 ring. I was using the stock open sights, setting down and using a chair as a rest. Not a good way to evaluate the pellets or the gun. Tomorrow I will install the scope and see how they do.
