You know...whenever I shoot dog turds, they usually start smellin' like they are fresh hatched again.  Not good.

Totally agree. I think the most fun I've ever had with any gun would be with a $40 Daisy 880 I had. Parents bought it for me at about 13, I shot that thing (literally) until the stock fell off! First night I had it,Ii musta put 500 bbs through it. Maybe I'll get close to you guy's assortment one day ;)

I must confess. I have 2 tuned English springers and as of late they sit lonely in there cases while I'm out shooting my tuned QB78 in 22. The others shoot superbly I guess I just have a different taste right now.

Are you serious?

Man, I mean... ahem, Stephanie, Those things are better than paintballs. There like stinky exploding paintballs. Especially when they're fresh.

This one time, my dog wasn't quite finished...

I'm sorry, Steph, that's not fair of me. It just happens to be that toilet humor is my best friend. You've got kids right?

See Steph, Dale knows.

It's kinda like boiled okra, you don't know you're not gonna like it til you try it, then you know you're not gonna like it.

Thanks for having my back Dale,

I used to have an English springer but we gave him away because he pooped all over the house.

Just kidding, he was an outside dog. But maybe we should've had him tuned.

Old school 880s with the metal pump arm rock!

What happened to them? Now all you can find are these weak-@$$ plastic ones.

LOL Your a rip Dookie. If you had him tuned it might have smoothed him out and he could have made it out side. :)

You hit the nail right on the head. "It doesn't matter what you pay for it...but that you have fun..." Too many times I've read on other forums and seen the "snobbery" about airguns. Often when someone posts about a lower cost gun (i.e Gamo, Chinese, etc) they get brow beat. "Buy a better gun, etc." And they (the airgun snobs)can't believe that a lower cost gun could be fun, much less accurate. Many equate accuracy and fun with price. Well, maybe that's all they can afford. Or maybe they could afford it, but just choose not to spend more money. Not everyone can justify spending $500+ for an airgun that doesn't come with any optics. Then there is the "tinker factor". If I'm going to take apart an airgun ( and potentially &%^$& it all up) I prefer that it be low cost. That's why I like this forum, no "snobbery", just guys and gals who enjoy the guns and the hobby.

Regards

Nathan

True, very true but I don't think Paul Watts, Bob or anybody else was advertizing tunes for my model at the time.

I'll tell you this; it sure wasn't going to be a home tune. You ever try getting the compression spring back in one of those after it's been apart.  I'm pretty sure of another thing as well; that dog wasn't just going to stand there while I cross-hatched his cylinder either.

Thanks Jason,
Dookie

Yeah man, just like that one.

You know it's right, it doesn't even have the black over white diamond inlays on the forestock yet.

Are ya selling?
