I have heard a lot of talk about the JSB Exact Diablo pellets for the CFX.  I am wondering which to buy for my .22.  Pyramid offers a Exact Jumbo at 15.8g and a Exact Jumbo express at 14.3g.  Which is the one everyone is using and  best to use to avoid spring damage?

I haven't tried the JSB's and I doubt that I will. :o  I use the Benji Diablo's in my CFX and they produce 5shot cloverleafs for me out to 25yrds, paintballs are a breeze out to 50. :)  They work well on small game and are cheap enough to punch paper with. They are listed at 14.3gr. If you have a local store that carries them give them a try, at worst you'll only be out $4.

FWIW, Pyramyd Air won't have either type of Exact in stock until 10-19-07.
It would appear that JSB is having a bit of a time meeting the demand lately.
However, you can still place your order so that you will be among the first to get what many would say is the best pellet available.

With that said, easily the best pellet for accuracy out of my own .22 CFX is the Exact Jumbo, with 5 shots dropping into 0.4" groups @ 25 yards.
Oh, and if you haven't done it already, I would DEFINITELY spring (pun intended) for a CharlieDaTuna GRT-III trigger while waiting for the Exacts to get back in stock, so your CFX will be ready to do its best.
JSB Exacts are outstanding pellets.
Oh, my CFX also loves JSB Predators, which fall into 0.5"-0.6", and those absolutely clobber pests.
When you finally get your pellets, by all means, DO let us know how they group for you.

I guess I will be the odd one out here.. lol.. All three of my CFX's .177 and .22 love RWS Superdomes.. I have tried most all pellets and even the JSB's but for me the RWS are most consistant...:) Just a couple of my springers love the JSB's in .177 but ya know how those Spanish and German ladies are. High low maintence to high maintenance. And watch out fer dim German girls... hehe

Gene, my favorite pellets include Superdomes, plus Ram Jets, Exacts, and Predators.
Superdomes hover around 1/2" for me.
Interesting how two rifles, even though of the same make, model, and caliber, can show a difference in pellet preference.
