After talking with my good buddy Gene this morning on the forum I planned on sighting in my new scope from leftcoast1 up in my shooting range loft. The rain atlast took a break after three day's so you know where I headed, to my hunting ground's. Camo'd and loaded up with the B26-2.177 and a Predator chambered and ready I headed out. I made it through the wet field's and upon reaching the grove all was silent except for the relaxing sound of the rain water dripping from the tree's so I began my stalk. With the ground being wet it made for a silent walk, no dry forest duff to give me away and it paid off. I was resting against a tree scanning every other tree for movement when he appeared from a deadfall hole . I slowly slid down the tree and watched him work his way down the log and that's when he stopped to look for possible danger. It was alittle to late for that, had the yardage set, crosshair's where the should be and safety off. On impact he threw himself on his back and rolled of the log and expired on the spot. With a wet bottom from sitting hehe I got up and stepped out the yard's to dinner, thirtysix and as the pic show's the Predator didn't leave nothing to chance. He's now resting in my icebox waiting for dinner.};) Ed
