A kinder gentler Daisy 1000S...

I wasn't sure where to put this, but since the project would have taken place in my dedicated shop if I had one, here goes ;~D

Last month, I finally got up the nerve to remove the recoil pad on my Daisy Powerline 1000S to shove some foam into its hind-parts in hopes of taking a little bit of the reverb out. The big problem is that the pad isn't attached with screws, like a normal, civilized gun- LOL-, so I didn't know what to expect. Eventually, I decided to go for broke, and to document the procedure for posterity. Here's the link to an Acrobat .pdf file showing what I came up with:

In case anyone's interested, you should be able to right-click on the link and save the file to your PC. It's about 1.2 megabytes, so if you're on dial-up, you may want to go get a cup of coffee- LOL!
