viper self tune redo
« on: October 20, 2007, 04:06:56 AM »
The viper never stopped dieseling 100-150 rounds , so took it apart, cleaned all lube off,and redid with a little less mainly around piston. After I put it all back together and 20 -30 rounds later no more dieseling .

Glad you got her to settle down. It dosen't take much lube, especialy around the seal. You may want to pull a few patches through the barrel, if you haven't already, I'm sure some of the excess lube made it's way in there.
