Paul on the Two Talons I had , I used the 3/8 to weaver adapters with high Weaver double strap rings . You're going to need something extra high because of the way the bottle comes out from the stock . It puts your cheek high and to be comfortable you'll need higher than normal rings . The tri-base is not necessary , as a matter of fact Jon had one on the Talon he had and took it off, he didn't like it. kirby

Hey, Paul, my Talon is setup with the B-Square adjustable riser base, here's a link: http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/accessory.pl?accessory_id=299 , and Accushot 2 pc. high mounts.  This works well for me, gets my eye nicely lined up with the scope I'm using, a Simmons 44 Mag.  You could probably accomplish the same thing by going with the B-Square ultra-high mount, here's another link: http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/accessory.pl?accessory_id=224.  Hope this helps, and good luck.

I have a tri rail on my Talon SS.  It raises the height so it is likely regular rings will work fine for you.  I have a light which I can mount on either side of the scope on the tri rail.  Don't forget the frame has an upper and lower dovetail in addition to the scope base.  I have a laser on the upper frame rail.  The tri rail makes the overall gun more rigid.  I think it is a good and cheap accessory--29 dollars as I recall.   I think you are gonna like it.

My tri-rail was very far out of alignment and added alot of weight to the rifle.  I'd go with high or extra high mounts instead, the trial is un-needed in my opinion.
