« on: November 11, 2007, 11:51:42 AM »

Hello All,

I almost didn't make this post, due to lack of interest in patriotic events today.

But as the hours passed, memories of my Grandfathers and my Father and Uncles kept passing through my memories, all were Veterans, all were Proud ! They all served to protect and defend our Great Country, so I am posting this for them.

THANK YOU, All who served our Nation, to Protect and Defend our Freedom. THANK YOU, All that have paid for freedom with your time, energy, sweet and blood. THANK YOU, All that stood tall, when our Country and the World needed you. THANK YOU, All, that paid for our lives and freedoms with your life's blood !

THANK YOU ALL, AMERICANS VETERAN !!!

Thank you Bill and God bless our Veterans, hence:

If you can breath:    thank God!
If you can read:       thank a teacher!
If you are reading this in English:    thank a Veteran!

"Violence is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and valorous feeling which believes that nothing is worth violence is much worse. Those who have nothing for which they are willing to fight; nothing they care about more than their own personal safety; are miserable creatures who have no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of THOSE BETTER THAN THEMSELVES". Gary L. Griffiths, Chief Instructor, Advanced Force Tactics, Inc. (Paraphrasing John Stuart Mill)
