I've replaced a few breech seals on some of my airguns with orings that I found in the plumbing section at Home Depot, Orchard Supply, and Ace Hardware. Home Depot has the best prices and you get 10 orings for like two bucks. Velocity increased with the new seals, because of the tighter sealup. Further adjustment can be achieved with shimming under the orings with a thin strong material such as metal or vinyl. If you have a chrony you can see the results of each thing you try. I personally have spent many hours doing this kind of stuff and for me its really great when I push the velocity/consistency beyond stock. Working from quick memory I have improved the Diana 350, P5, Beeman P17, and Hammerli Storm with storebought orings and silicone oring lube.
