A Mini Lathe....SOLD SOLD SOLD
« on: December 15, 2007, 06:12:56 AM »

So you wanted a Mini Lathe to make small parts and guides or other fun time jobs or hobby stuff. Well here is a deal you can’t turn your back on. This lathe is in an almost like new and perfect condition. Everything that you need including all of the major spare replacement parts in case you would ever have any problems.

The only reason that I am selling it is that I bought a bigger lathe and don’t have the room for it.

Here’s what you get for your money:

Grizzly Mini Lathe
http://grizzly.com/products/G8688 ($525.00)

Accessories

Phase II Quick Change tool post.
http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=2401&category=-419988835 ($135.00)

6- Additional tool holders http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=2414&category=1005208204 $22.00+ each = (132.00)

1- knurling tool
http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=1911&category= ($40.00)

Digital Readout Kit
http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=2222&category= ($130.00)

Tail Stock cam kit:
http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=2018&category= ($30.00)

1- 4” Chuck (already installed) http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=1941&category=566826475 ($87.00)

Additional Parts:

Extra timing belt:
http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=1105&category=5 ($6.00)

Spare Motor Controller board:
http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=1336&category=5 ($90.00)

Also, 1 complete Motor Control box assembly:
http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=3061&category= ($110.00)

It comes with all kinds of maintenance tear down instruction, fine tuning instructions and tooling instruction material in a notebook that I have assembled.

PLUS… other odds and ends.

That’s a total of almost $1300.00.

I’m asking $550.00 for the complete works. Yep…that’s right, $550.00.

And I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do. I’m going to give you that last $50.00 of the price to help cover your gas expense.

Now that makes it a flat $500.00. Such a deal.

But like anything else, there is a bit of a catch to it. You must be able to pick it up here in Simpsonville (just out side of Greenville) SC. It will easily fit in the trunk of a car and the weight is about 90 lbs and the extras about another 15-20 lbs.

Just contact me ifn' yer interested.

Sold pending funds. And as stated earlier on the post, the only reason that I was selling it was that I bought a bigger lathe and don’t have the room for it.

Hi Mike...

Of course you can swing by anytime. All you need to do is have enough change to buy Me and Gene a cup of coffee.  :D

Sorry but the lathe has been sold. It only lasted a couple of hours. Solly.... :0
