does anyone have any feedback on the gamo delta?? my 9 year old son is wanting a new gun his red ryder is not cutting it anymore so i want to get him a break barrel ....he wants to go out and shoot some starlings and squirrels with me.....will the delta fair well with this task.....i know its only kicking out about 500 fps though i would prefer more ....but as you all know thats going to require a bigger gun ....i was thinking a big cat and he has shot mine but i worry that the size and wieght will get to him after a while out in the field.....so the delta....yes or no?? thank you

Hey Robin.

In my opinion the Delta is an excellent youth gun or a petite ladies gun as well. A fun shooter, accurate and easy cocking as well as light. Because of the small power plant, not much can be done to bring up the velocity though. Also, the trigger can be replaced.
