I'm gonna give you a mixed bag of an answer. First off lets say the scope has been mounted to the rifle since 94' give or take a year. It has been back to Bushnell for service on two separate occasions. It currently has turret oil spotting on the inside of the objective lens due to the harsh effect the springer has on it. I'm sure one of the trips to Bushnell was to clean the oil off of the objective lens. The other trip was for the same thing &/or possibly because I felt something was not right and I was having issues keeping it zeroed. The paperwork from then serves me better than my memory. One trip says it was cleaned, adjusted and the parallax was adjusted. The other trip back has the same info marked as well as a loose objective lens marked.
With all that said, I think the scope is a nice piece of work but I have nothing to compare it to. However I did just walked in the door and have a Centerpoint 4-16x40 in hand that I plan to use while I send the Bushy back once again. Another thing, the RWS, the scope or the user I has always suffered from some erratic problem. One day the gun hits it's mark consitantly, the next day I have to sight it in again. I've never put my finger on whether it's a scope issue, gun issue, or user problem. But lets go ahead and rule out the user as the problem. LOL After I put the Centerpoint on I may have a better understanding of the problem and may be more capable of answering your question. You will find a lot more people talking good about the Bushnell Trohpy than you will taking against it. If money is no biggy, the Trophy is supposedly one of the best you can have.
