HELP--Gamo Whisper can any one tell me how to take the stock off

I have a gun smith friend working on a whisper for someone and he asked me how it comes off. I've never held one so I dont know. he said that the stock has two screws on the inside of the stock at the cocking lever opening  and presume to be where they are but he is unable to get them out.  special tool to take them out or what? any ideas / help is appriciated.

The Gamo CFX and some of the other late model guns with synthetic stocks have the forestock retaining screws covered by the rubber hand pads/grips located on each side of the forestock. These grips must be removed to get to the screws. Removing them is very simple. Insert a small blade screw driver or something similar under the rear corner of the pad/grip and carefully lift enough to get your fingers under enough to pop it off. It is held in place by buttons and pop into the stock. To reinstall them, just pop them back on.

thanks Bob, I kinda figured that after looking at them on a gun sales site.
I talked to him just awhile ago, its the delux stock he 's working on  which have the plastic insert and he still claims the he has to get to screws thru the back , just the end of the screw after he pulled the insert off the plastic stock.
 Is it possible that they were put in backwards?  I'm kinda figuring not, but I hate to dissagree with him as he has over 40 yrs as a smith. He has worked on some air guns but he 's not as versed as others but still with all that experience behind him.

the furthist panel forward on both sides have screws and there is a screw at the back of the trigger guard directly behind the trigger. the gun may fit tight my viper did. don't for get the cocking arm roller sometimes they fall off.

If you are referring to the covers Buster, no... they will only go on one way because of the tapered design, left and right.

I dont think he was talking about the covers. I'm sending him a Shadow schmatic.
