.177 Barrel Swap
« on: February 19, 2008, 07:53:05 AM »
Hi everyone,
With the UK power limits I am working with I have concluded that .22 is not worth the trouble. Higher pellet costs and lower trajectory are two points I have in mind. I have a spare QB barrel in .177 knocking about and I'd like to transfer it to my .22 QB. Can this be done? Is it a simple swap? If anyone has attempted it please let me know what you found/did etc.
thanks for your help,
Alan :)

As long as you swap the probe for .177  as well as  the barrel there's no problem. Power should stay legal as well. I've changed mine on QB79  many times.(in UK)
