viper draws first blood!

i have had these pictures for about 2weeks but my computer has been down, this is the first kill with my new viper. i guess his luck ran out, i was walking  in my hunting woods when i notice this little sucker just playing in my woods, i quess he thought i still had that old daisey 901 but he quess dead wrong! i eased my viper up and placed my scope on him and he didn't move so i let the pellet go and bam!!!!!!!!!!! i hit his little ass in the upper shoulder and he flipped out of the tree and landed on the ground and he kicked a little but not for to long, here are some pics of my new girl and her first kill.

Nice kill.  How long does it take a nutter to die with a shot to the vitals??  I see alot of you guys taking head shots.  I'm not that good yet...maybe a need a better scope.

I like those exit holes on the bucket too  :-)

A good vitals shot with .177 results in a squirrel who makes it less than a couple feet, and dies within 10, 15 seconds.  Really, tho, the head and the vitals kill zones are about the same size.  You can hit'em, just take your time and relax.  They usually sit still longer than you need.
