some times its just nice to sit and watch..

i find myself enjoying just being out there with the critters.i take one of my guns and a few cans of adult
beverage and just sit on a log i pulled to a perfect spot in the woods.
i can walk out the door and in 2 minutes be in another world.this patch of woods is like heaven.
i swear..an elephant can live and go unnoticed in this perfect place God made just for me.
some times i take aim and fire..some times i just watch..mostly watch.
the birds..the squirrels...the hawks..the turtles..the ducks..and even a fox (rarely).
the racoons are the most fun..their SOOO family types.( i dont shoot them).
what a beautiful place this small but large 9 acres is..it has the power to take all the troubles away.
before i got into airguns...the land was just a chore.
it took airguns and you GTA people to open my eyes again...thank you.

My 0.12 acres just isn't quite the same:)  I do get lost in the backyard sometimes, you know while I'm worrying if the neighbors will call the police on "The guy shooting guns in his backyard!".

Your backyard sounds like a nice place Paul, maybe someday I'll own a chunk of my own.  Wife and I have been considering moving further north up by Oklahoma and getting a few acres, just tough now with the boys in school and don't want to move them....maybe in a few years:)

Your right fix and I will miss this area that I live in at this moment, moving east to MI. but there are some nice area's over there also. Here's a pic just alittle west of me in the BlackHills. Ed

Ya mon, dat dere's some gud scenery! Around here I have to travel 15 minutes just to get to see two trees together. I live in Republic of Nj, so only shootin is yer house. We print out pictures like yers and paste em on both sides of our bed and just dream.
