Hey Roald!
I don't think you are over optimistic about power and shots per fill. My QB will spit them out at 935 on HPA and has a very long shot string. I'm using a 13CI Wevo tank, cheapo regulator that has been "home tuned" for more PSI. Your 22CI tank should give you a ton of shots. I hand pump my guns, and pumping that HPA QB from zero to 3000 doesn't take long at all, actually used to pump my Talon by hand also and the tank on that was about 1 1/2 times the volume of your 22CI tank. The beauty of a regulated tank is that once you pump over the output pressure the rest is just more shots, so if you want to only pump to 2000psi it wont effect velocity, just shot count:) An example, I pumped my Career 707 completely full and my QB completely full the weekend before last. I went shooting with Joel for a good part of the day and never refilled either gun. The only other gun I brought was my B26 and I only took a handfull of shots with that, both of the PCP's were still shooting good when I left. Of course the 707 isn't regulated, so I didn't shoot it as much as the QB. Not saying pumping is fun, but you are probably in better shape than me and I don't mind pumping mine...just a thought.
Can't wait for the 5th. The place Joel has picked out is a really nice place to shoot, I think you'll all agree.
Take care,
