Given the real world weight (from stock variations...and most run light) may be able to drill 6-8oz. from under the buttpad....could shave another couple of ounces from reshaping the stock a bit...and perhaps make the weight requirment.

I got that info from Straightshooters. It was based on the .177 Caliber. They actually weigh and test everything they sell. Even down to the actual weight of pellets...
