Sounds like what I went through with my 350. Have you ever opened it up, check the internal lubrication? RWS's are notoriously light on lubes, my .22 350 was practically bone dry. It shot smoother and more consistently after I lubed it, but it was still a beast. Cured me of magnumitis, though :-)! Okay, springer magnumitis, I do like the power of my PCP's. Best I ever got from that 350 was just under 25 fpe, my Talon SS, with 12" .177 barrel installed can just about do that. And of course, no recoil, etc. Later.
