I just dump out the pellet trap, squeeze the old ones between my teeth till they fit back into the breach and shoot 'em again. Haven't bought a fresh tin of pellets since 88', or was that 98', 2008? Man, who am I, what are these things in my mouth made of anywho? Just kidding, DO NOT PUT PELLETS IN YOUR MOUTH!!!
Honestly though Wally World has Crosman Premier hollow points on clearance for $4.98 for 500, and the regular wadcutters for $3.98 per 500...these are only in .177 though, I usually shoot cheapo Gamo Hunters or Benjamin Diablos in .22 from Academy Sports which is also nearby and pretty cheap...maybe $4 for the Gamos and $6 for the Benjamins per 250...in a pinch I'll buy some Daisy MaxSpreads for about $2 per 250 from Wally World in .22. The sweet thing about having a Wally World right up the street is that I can say,"Man....we're out of milk, I'm going to the store", my wife will give me a short list of items that I need to pick up while I'm there...I look like I am such a good husband, doing the shopping thing...., but while I'm there I'll sneak in a 25 pack of CO2, or a couple tins of pellets. Easy to conceal among $50-$100 worth of groceries. Yes, I know she knows I am buying them, but she lets me think I am getting away with it, so why stop now:)
