Nice looking rifle!

I can't really make out the action, but is that a Ruger 77-17? Or a Savage?

I've got that very same rifle. It's got the best trigger of any firearm I've shot, bar none! Very accurate @ 150+ yards. Blows varmints to pieces...little pieces. However it feeds very bad. MidSouth Shooter Supply has about the best prices of .17 HMR ammo that I've seen.

I don't have a .17 rimfire because I have enough rimfires in .22 lr and mag. I'm not slamming the little .17s. They're a blast. I'm just trying to simplify my ammo cache. The same reason I don't own a .40. I have 9mm and .45 acp. I have both ends of the spectrum. no need to get the middle and have to buy a whole new batch of ammo.
Of course, all I shoot here lately is air powered, anyway. I do like those Savages. I have a 110 in .30-06. Sweet shooter.
