Would anyone be interested in a custom QB?
« on: April 15, 2008, 04:12:33 AM »
If you could get a fully tuned QB with muzzle brake and a custom stock for $350.00 plus shipping would you be interested?

That would be a .177 or .22 with a Delrin brake and a custom carved poplar stock.

Walnut would be $395.00 plus shipping.

Other options would be available at additonal cost.

I am thinking of putting together Mike Melick tuned QB's with a custom carved stock and offering a ready to go package.  The tuned gun would just be ordered from Mike with no markup.  I would carve and finish the stock and put them together.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested.

Thanks,

TimN

Maybe try doing just the stocks. Not a lot of stocks for Qb's. Good luck.

Thanks,

I am doing the stocks.  I just wondered if people might be interested if it was all put together so they just had to make one purchase.  Not making anything on the gun, just trying to boost interest in the stocks.

Hi Joe,

Actually it can be done now.  All it takes is ordering the gun and the stock blank and finding out what you want for both.  The gun and stock will be shipped to me.  I will carve and finish the stock and install the gun.  Then ship it to you, ready to rock and roll!

WOW TIM, that is some nice work. Is that your only design for the stocks? Very impressive. I must say the GTA sure has some very special talented members.

Thanks for sharing

Not at all.  Don Main cuts out the blanks and inlets them.  I then carve the blanks and finish them.  Based on what the blank shape is, I can carve the finished stock into whatever you want.

I would love to have a new stock for my 78D. Unfortunatly my disposable funds right now are non-existant. When my gun funds get a little higher, I hope to get myself a walnut stock such as the one in your pics.
