Because of some of the posts made in other areas and forums, I think it should be known that earlier today I called Khiem again about his gun and the low velocity. He called me back this afternoon. I told him that I had no explanation or reason for the low velocity and that if he would send it back that I would be more than happy to take another look at it to see if I could find a reason for the low velocity. I spent a considerable amount of time the first time and couldn't find a reason for it including the rotary breech seals but I would be more than willing to go through it again.
His response was that he liked it just the way that it is and very happy with the way that it shoots. He likes the way it handles, how smooth shooting it is, the smooth cocking and how great the GRT-III trigger is and is very happy with it even though the velocity is low. He just wondered why the velocity is as low as it is as would most other people. He certainly wasn't being critical of the gun or of my workmanship.
I suggested then that he go ahead and shoot it for as long as he likes and that perhaps in a few weeks if he changes his mind, then he can send it back then. He again said that he likes it the way that it is and that he didn't think so but would wait and see in a few weeks. Khiem can send it back whenever he likes if he elects to do that.
Thank you Khiem..
