Hey Brent, I nailed one of those today eating the food I laid out for the Cardinals. We have allot of Cardinals and the males are sure purdy. I was shooting my CZ at the time and testing different pellets and just behind my target that was set at 35 yards the black varment landed and started throwing food everywhere..:) Put the cross hairs on his fuse box and good night. He just callapsed and did not move..:) Well the dog grabbed it up and ran like H$@$$#. Did not feel like chasing her.. But it is funny we nailed the same kind of bird on the same day..:)

Well im gonna one up ya Gene,so get back out the and bag another. Here's another I nailed just about10 minutes ago.The wife and I were out back when he landed and started a fast trot around the yard.I didnt pay attention that he had closed the distance while running around and my first shot hit low center. He tried to fly but could'nt and was silenced a few seconds later by another shot.....Im sure Peak has us both beat today..lol..Them birds seem to flock to her..I also feel yer pain about the dog, mine eats all my squirrel tails..Imma gonna hang out back while dinner cooks and try for some more.
