I find stuff like this very 'backwards' interesting.

I've never been an armchair quarterback and have trouble understanding the mentality behind the editorials over the efforts the media feels 'must be criticised' when they {the reporting media} can stand by the sideline "watching"atrocities most of the rest of us would be compelled to do something about. http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_1399668.html

Somehow an old grayhair bearded construction worker stopping to help somebody with a flat tire won't ever make"news" while an elderly couple dying on the side of the highway because noone stopped isthe national media hit. Why is it only reportablenews when the media feels it is horrendous enough to warrant a retching gut? They'll count bullets thencount the dead, but for some reason they're not interested in counting the liberated or those restored to good health.
