just so everyone here knows i fix home heating and a/c systems so if you need advice or parts new or used just let me know.

would one of these units work like a air source heat pump and therefore be more efficient than a basic electric heater, with the added benefit of reducing humidity, hot days are rare in this part of the globe so the cooling function is no real use to me

my gaff is quite well insulated and the blocks its made from help store the heat,  typical variation over a week without heating is 2 degrees C and about 1 KW will keep the house topped up except for when there is frost etc. so if i go this way i think one unit would be enough
