New barrel seal causing barrel droop
« on: June 21, 2008, 05:07:26 AM »
New G1 (B19) had a barrel seal that looked pretty mashed up, so I ordered a few new ones from Crosman, but after installing a fresh one, the barrel now droops. If I put the old one back on there is no barrel droop. The crosman seals are pretty hard plastic.

Question: Is there a break in time for the new barrel seal to compress to the metal surfaces which may slowly fix the recent barrel droop? Are there any adjustments I should make?

I'd like to avoid having to bend the barrel if I know the seal is going to give and the droop will fixed naturally.

Thanks all.
