First, I know this is late, but I still feel the need to respond. I have 3 B3-1’s and two are broke in and hitting bottoms of pop cans at 60 yards. Now since I shoot down somewhat, when you have one can behind the other I can see a crescent of the bottom of one can behind another which is about ¼ inch higher than the can in front. I can more often than not even take out that can, so the accuracy is far better than I ever though they would be (of course years back I was a marksman in the Air Force Security but air guns are harder to be accurate with).

Now with my Big Cat, I have Bob’s trigger but the rest is all stock (except for the stock, it’s a 440). I have over 6000 rounds and that thing is shooting CP HP at 850+ and doing it every bit as accurately as the B3’s. It is smooth as silk and broken in fine. In fact, I have started shooting it at 60 yds offhand instead of off the rest because of how smooth it has been acting and surprised myself by STILL hitting those cans, but not in the way noted above; just note stead enough for that anymore, or yet.
I came into this world with nothing, and I still have most of it left!

The BC to me is a gun that kinda grows on you. On initial shooting it was twangy, rough cycleing, and not very pleasent to shoot. Luckily my neighbor comes over and that's the gun he shoots most. But in that time to the present, he was actually breaking it in for me. It's gotten alot better to shoot and it is a fast gun!!!!l Way smoother cocking cycle, and even that annoying as heck twang has calmed down. Accuracy has always been good with the BC, but something as little as the (and I don't mean this in the derogatory or unappreciative way by any means) GRT-III trigger almost automatically brings the accuracy up to much more acceptible groups. The only draw-back,....the BS factory rings and scope,....DO NOT DO this rifle justice what so EVER!!! I Put mine up on the classifieds because I have too many AR's as it is,....buuut thanks to one of my GTA bretheren, I've decided to hold onto it and make it a project gun,....You'll be proud of me Dr. Tommy,.....I plan to do the "MARAUDER" treatment to it,.....fancy custom paint scheme,.....and a BI-POD!!!!!! Know how you love those crutches T!!!!! LOL's Just kiddin Bro' !! tjk

Humm, mine is the Wal-Mart and came with the once piece scope mount and the 3-9 x 40 scope which I just love for late night long distance shooting. My twang has become a "crack", short and sweet and not that loud. It pretty much lost all or most of the twang after I put the wood 440 stock (they sell those alone on the Gamo site) and it is a direct 3 screw replacement of the synth stock. About $40 all told shipped to my door if I remember.

Well my Big cat .177 Cal shot good for me and  I sold it, now I miss it LOL, I killed a few pigeons out to 95 yard with it one shot kills.
this rifle is real light so you can shoot it all day and not feel worn out,  light cocking makes this rifle a young shooters dream come true.
My daughter loved the big cat   she is 18 years old but weighs around 100 lbs and she would shoot that rifle the best out of all my springer's, she also misses it LOL.
I made all them kills with.177  crosman premiere 9.7 grain hollow points, them little devils were very accurate on that cat.
