I believe you Joe. I'll even wager that you will surprise yourself even more in the days to come if you continue to challenge yourself by taking additional long shots at distant targets.Your rifle is one of the best in the world and capable of hitting targets accuratly at distances that will amaze you.Using "Kentucky Windage" to estimate hold over is a guessing game but if you can shoot where your pellets will throw up a dust puff on impact you can "walk-in" that shot.I look forward to you telling us next week about the 75 yard shot you made. Then the next week 95 yds and who knows after that.200yds maybe. My own personal best is 144 yds on a starling with a RWS 34.No kidding.

Joe:
As for "walking in" shots with my Theoben, there are a couple of big ponds here in the mountains.  I can stand on the dam and pick a point on the shore line at variable distances out to perhaps 150 yards.  When still, the water makes an excellent surface to see the pellet impact.  Then I just walk the mil dots up until there is no splash.  A stick or stump coming directly out of the water works best as you can hear the "thwack" when the pellet hit's wood.  I think I may purchase myself an decent range finder and start making some more accurate measurements for hold over at various distances with this method.
