Back in 1984 I had just got married, money was tight, I was weight lifting for 2 1/2 hours a day. I could not afford protien powder so after every work out I would drink 3 raw eggs. This went on for three years until I got salmonella poisoning. Hardest stuff to keep down I have ever tried.

Survival training, 7th ATC, Grafenwhoer, Germany - grubs and grasshoppers. Nothing like having something with spiney legs crawling on your tongue before crunching it to death, then swallowing and having it still wiggling on the way down. I still get the all-over-body shivers just thinking about it. Good training but I certainly hope I never have to be in a situation where I have to do that again. Living in Germany, I ate horse every once and again. They sell it as sausages during Fests from street vendor carts. It's cheap meat and doesn't taste too overly horrifying. Never got your "explosive decompression" symptoms though, Bill. You must have gotten a bad batch.

I'm a computer geek, now. I'll just stay in my "cave" and live off the sustenance of my kind: Piped-in or artificial sunlight, caffeinated beverages and left-over pizza.

Heh!

Had some Mule Deer once back in the 60's that was (JUST AWFUL). The first Striper I ever caught back in '73 I cooked with the dark/red meat still attached. It made the fish in my opinion not fit for human consumption. I doubt that a cat would have eaten it.Had some spoiled pimento cheese once. I thought I was gonna' die about eight hours later.Does well done prime rib count? How about raw pork sausage?I killed a big sow coon that I thought was a squirrel once and I swear it was the toughest meat I ever tried to eat .Boot leather tough. My all time favorite though is a bowl of lard with a hair in it.

Hmm, pork brains? Tastes like potted meat(not bad) but as greasy as eating a can of Crisco. Then there's the thought that you're eating brains.
Bad calamari, back in 1996. I got off work early one night, went to Spondivits with coworkers, got drunk, and had 2 orders of calamari. I love calamari. Something just wasn't right about one piece, but I was too drunk to care. About 3 hours later it all came back up, painfully.
Smoked oysters that gave me food poisoning on Valentine's Day 1999. Still newlywed. Worst abdominal pain I've ever felt. I was praying to sh!t it out or die, either one was ok by me at the time. Glad I didn't die.
When I was 3 or 4 yrs old, forget which, I caught a fat green caterpillar. Tomato hornworm or cabbage worm? My mom said she watched me play with that caterpillar for half an hour. She went inside for a very brief moment(with my brother watching me, that explains a lot), came back outside, and I had green bug juice on the side of my mouth and I said(direct quote) "Bug no good." That had to be pretty nasty.
