GAMO forum ethics SUCKS!!! the person that is behind it

Hello everyone. And sorry to start my membership here with controversy, but here it is

I just got blocked from Gamo yellow forum by some crazy person for asking a question  

I posted a question asking as to what to choose between CDT trigger and Rich from Mitch GAMO insert, harmless post. Anyway my post got edited because of "reference to and promotion of a dishonest dealer" aka Charlie de Tuna. To me that sounded ridiculous. And I wanted to know what is the deal? Who did Charlie de Tuna ripped of, etc?  Anyway I got banned from the board. p.s. I had heard nothing  but praise from airgunners online about CDT work, and his great  tune service that will be missed so  much, and this just sucks that we have a mole in the airgun community that labels good people this way.

...sorry again folks for bringing this up here, but it made me mad, and  I will be ordering a GRT trigger anyway for my .22 whisper that I really am enjoying, besides that stock trigger that I adpated too anyway. The Whipser is one fine gun, super hold sensitive, not as accurate as my 850, but very good for the money paid, had to change that scope it came with, that's a bad scope they give us. I found it to be comparable to RWS 34 that I used to have, both guns need some time to break in.

oh yeah that network54 GAMO board bookmark is gone from my browser. I was  surprised to see that in airgun community, from an airgunner, i just hate when people do this... thanks for your advice, very happy to be here, will be doing some reading on the Gamo gate.

WOW...That is too freaky...I had know idea the mention of CDT on the yellow forum would get that kind of reaction. Can't we all just get along?

Welcome, Tim.  Glad to have you here at the GTA, where any polite poster is always welcome (even Yankees).  As to your question, the CDT trigger mod is unsurpassed for improving the quality of the trigger on a Gamo air gun, IMO.  And CDT is an honest and helpful as a person can be when it comes to all matters "air gun". But you will discover that quickly enough on your own.

This is an old war, and the details are no longer all that important.  Just know that any mention of CDT, Bob Werner, the GRT III, or the GTA will get deleted from the Yellow forum and it's sub forums, and pursuing the matter WILL get you banned.  It's a personal vendetta by the YF owner, and from what I've seen, that's not going to change in this lifetime.  You can email the forum owner directly and ask to be unbanned, or you can just wait, I think there's a default timer on these things, and the ban gets lifted automatically after some set time, not sure what that is.  You're right, it sucks, but that's the policy of the guy that makes the rules, either live with it or hang out here like we do :-).  Later.

I am also new to this forum, but I must say this much. I have dealt with CDT on several occasions, 1st time was to buy the CFXlll (1) for a brand new GAMO Whisper which is less then a month old, again when I purchased two (2) more CRTlll's, one (1) to install on a 2 week old GAMO CFX and one to hold as a spare in case I get crazy and buy another GAMO Rifle ( if my wife does not beat me over the head with my new toys first). On both of these occasions my orders arrived promptly, with my 2nd order arriving in less then 3 days, not bad (between NC and IA), I call this first rate customer service, and the only other people I deal with PA, offer the same great service. I just wish CDT was still doing tunes, I have 3 that I would send to him in a heart beat (1RWS, 1Gamo Whisper, 1CFX). CDT has also answered my question's with out me having to Waite days for an E-Mail answer, again fantastic service to someone who has just started dealing with him. Everyone I know on my line of work either knows or has heard of CDT's custom work, and with his reputation, and in my line of work that is saying a great deal about his reputation, or I would not have done any business with him. I normally shoot HIGH Powered Live Ammo for reasons, and have only returned to Air Springer do to the extremely High Cost of Live Ammo. With all that said, I have a saying that I have lived by all my adult life; "KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE, and KEEP YOUR ENEMIES EVEN Closer", from what you are saying CDT with his great mind, and his honesty, thru no fault of his own "*_*_*_*_*_*ED some one off that wants to ruin his reputation. Those of you out there are the only ones that can keep people like this one from spreading nasty stories about CDT, by not doing any business with them, and some day, they may grow up and LEARN HOW TO PLAY IN THE SAND BOX WITH OTHERS. Thanks guys for a warm welcome, I am glad to be here! This site has a ton of info and great reviews on guns I want to buy And by the way I bought my .22 Whisper after reading a detailed report by Gene on this site several weeks ago. Everything was exactly as he wrote. This is one fine gun, just takes time to break it in, and man was the barrel dirty in that thing, ran 40 patches to clean all the stuff out. Love my .22, thanks.

to get banned from the Crosman forum? I've only seen that happen twice in the four or five+ years I've been going there! Once was someone who ripped a bunch of people off and the other was an obnoxious 14 year old. There has been some pretty good fights over there too!
