Gene: If I may, I am coming from another direction. Since we are creating more PTSD cases in Iraq, I wish you and others would open up and tell  your story. I have no Idea what you have seen but feel it is associated with battle and what you were required to do for our government. If is not fair that you and the others have to carry this burden alone. Gene, my dear friend and buddy, it is so good to see a note from you. I think of you everyday and all my best hopes and wishes are with you. Gene: I don't know you and we have never met. Haven't even corresponded with you much.
However, your personality has created more of a neighborhood than a forum, here. I read other forums and post to to them occasionally, but GTA is home.
This is because of the atmosphere YOU personally have created (and of course, CDT). It is a very unique community for online special interest forums, with little of the rancor and stupidity we find elsewhere (not just in the AG world).
Really it is like hangin' in the garage each night and the guys stop by for a beer and to comment on the "projects" that most of us are in to one degree or another. I have learned more here than anywhere else about AGs, wthout being called a dumba$$ or lambasted over hidden rules, and it is really because your personality has projected through the internet in such a unique way.
I could not possibly comment on the issues that have drawn you away, without trivializing them.
Know that you have a lot to be proud of, and have shaped something lasting and larger than yourself. Please stop in as you are able and help keep GTA such a great place to be.

Gene great to see that your up and about again, albeit not as regurarly as you would like. Get Better soon, we all missed you. Nothing to beat PTSD  faster than shooting with some of your airgunbuds.
