I know how you feel Tim and it ain't no picnic. If you have something around the house, that you can hang off of, it will relieve some of the pressure.

Sorry to hear your hurtin Tim,,,, I know how much pain it can cause,,,, I've been dealing with a bad back for many years.  I'm sure you know exactly what to do to relieve your pain but I'll just throw this out there....... ICE !!

When I get a really bad recurrence the only thing that keeps the pain bearable is an ice bag.  

Anyway,,,hope you are back on your feet soon buddy....

Oh, Tim I'm bummed for you man....   I've dealt with a sciatic pinch on a few occaisions and it's no fun at all.  Is this where I pull the old Clinton adage:  "I feel your pain"?  Hang in there and do the hot/cold thing with ice for an hour and follow-up with a warm, moist towel.  If you've got muscle relaxers- eat em'!  Take potassium supplements- they tend to help too.

Take er' easy and try not to do too much...   a'ight!

My two cents Timbo,....Eat lots of bananas, mix that crown with some pedialite, do the ice/heating pad thing,....and if worse comes to worse,.....smoke ya a lefty. LOL's. OK that wasn't very PC, but I'd rather do that than take a pill form bunch of man-made $#it that wasn't produced naturally. When My back gives me troubles, I sleep on the floor!!! Sorry to hear you down buddy,

I use Shiatsu, or Acupressure on mine buddy, only takes a few minutes to relieve the pain.

But most occidentals would rather us drugs, that only cover the cause of the pain.

I also find hot showers help. I hope you back in action soon buddy !

Sorry ya' got the bad back Timmy. I get one or two episodes a year of "working man's back" that lays me low for a few days. If you can tolerate it, Ibuprofin should ease your pain.Also I've found that if in two days that I'm not a whole lot better, then rehabbing on a treadmill will accelerate my recovery. If I just try to rest without the exercise, recovery takes longer. After four days, try to get on your feet and start walking. It will help even though it might hurt to try.Get well soon air gun bud.
