I love Sarah Palin and look forward to her presidency!!!  Her normalcy is what makes her so appealing to me.  She has actually paid taxes before just like us, her husband is in the steel union and holds a real job just like us, I'd bet she's even pumped her own gas before (just like us).  I'm tired of people from harvard and yale telling me that they are for us "po folks" when a normal person couldn't even hold a conversation with them. I don't particularly like Mccain but I think she can keep him grounded to the fundamental ideals of the average American.  Ron Paul on the other hand is a great man but just to radical to get elected (the liberal media never even gave him a chance though).  His principles are sound and should hopeful start a reevaluation of the way americans think of government and the constitution.  To bad he opposed the war on terror I think that was his downfall, people didn't understand his point that he didn't oppose the war just the fact that the congress didn't declare war.

BTW, the USA is not, and has never been a democracy. It's a constitutional republic. A democracy is pure mob rule.

Two choices?

daveshoot - 9/4/2008 9:41 AM Well it is narrowed down to two choices. You can question all you like, but you still end up with two choices. Many might have preferred other people for either nomination, but since now you have two choices, you compare one choice to another, not to what might've been. And that seems pretty straightforward. As for having what it takes, not too many people ascending to the office have burst into tears and just floundered. I will take my chances with someone who seems to share my values. I know right where the other choice leads. She'll do nicely.
Unless one of those choices is to get rid of the private bank Fed Reserve, IRS and unconstitutional unapportioned taxes, then it is only acontinuedperpetuation ofanother term of paid ruling class controlling the sheeple!
`
Who has plans to restore the Constitution?
Who plans to STOPsheeple fleecingthrough usurping liberties and high unapportioned taxes?
`
These are the most important questions to answer, but I haven't heard anyone volunteer any answers!

Does she really have what it will take to lead a nation if McCain dies in office? She doesn't seem to have done too well with having an unmarried pregnant daughter. Alaska isn't exactly a mainstream State with major business like some of those in the lower 48. She is a backwater version of the governor of South Dakota or similar. At least she isn't from Utah or Massachussets. The big question is whether she is really qualified for the position or is she a female Dan Quayle?

Parents give children the knowledge of knowing  right from wrong. Parents can give their children advice. But they can not make  the decisions for them. I have 3 sons and I have given them advice over and over again. But they choose to live their lives the way they want.
I was one of those unmarried pregnant daughters that you seem to continue to beat up over and over again on every politcal post.
Her pregnant daughter is not running for Vice President she is!!!!!!
I never thought I would be an air gun shooter, a big bore toting, ram shooting, motorcycle riding girl. :) But it\'s all good!!!

That pic is a fake. I've seen the original and it's had her head photoshopped onto it.
I saw an old pic of her in a very seksy, but not trashy skirt and top. Mmmm-mmmm. Tasty.
She cleans her own fish and guts her own caribou. I like it.

Too bad it's not a fastback. The 69 and 71-73 Mach 1s are my favorite Mustangs ever. Don't like the 70. They did away with 2 of the lights up front, and flush mounted the taillights. Just didn't work for me.
