Yep, nice hunting. Nice grips too. I will ask the same question as I did Shadow. Are you going to make a cap or hat?

Heh heh I like the 2nd photo.  Great shooting with that good looking Talon and it's unique wood grips and stock butt.

Good shooting Tim!  Seems you have plenty of nacternal creatures in your back yard.

Wow, your gun looks completely different than stock!  Me likes.. hehe
I see you got the tri-rail and a flashlight too!  I wouldn't think the scope would clear the flashlight on mine.  I was thinking of adding one on the side of the tri-rail which I don't have yet but I will try it on the top rail.  That nice fat shroud makes it look a real firearm :-)   Tell us about it.  Is it home made?  How effective is it?
The grips are very nice too and I 'm glad you added a shoulder piece too.  The forearm grip and butt stock are the only 2 major flaws in this gun and you seem to have remedied them just fine.  What pellet did you use on this bandit?

It got into the olympic spirit and trained the whole summer to outrun that vicious killa Timmy....that's why it don't have no body fat!!! Alas, Timmy got LUCKY and the Talon spitting out da pellet at 800+ fps took the GOLD. Rumours that the coon was taken steriods...but it haven't been confirmed.

The alcoholic Racoon populus...
« Reply #13 on: September 08, 2008, 06:17:24 AM »
So I did a little camping over the weekend at the Pecan Bayou river.  It's a nice place to stay but over the years the local coon populus have developed a taste for stealing beer and one's BBQ items.  I didn't really know this until this weekend when the proprietor of the property told me so.  Sure enough, right around dusk you could hear them chattering amongst themselves conspiring to snag my beer and steaks.  It was dark enough that I'd donned the headlamp and started cooking up my steaks.  I'd turned around from the BBQ pit and just long enough to go into my van for the tongs...   those rat &%$%#$'s took one of my steaks!

I brought the fishing rods but didn't have any guns with me...   but what I DID have with me was a bottle of Daves' Insanity Sauce!  I did manage to get the reminder of my steaks cooked but not without several attempts on their behalf to steal other valuable items...   they did grab an opened beer off the table.  At this point I was just p*ssed!  "Fight fire with fire" I'm thinking at this point so I grabbed the hot sauce, cut up some steak chunks and drenched one side of several pieces with Daves.  I returned to the comforts of my tent and within moments there they were again...

That good for nuthin' free-loader hopped the table and went after the goods and BAM!  That bugger started shakin' his head like he's contracted a case of the good one!  Needless to say his side-kicks got the other pieces and didn't return thereafter.

Thanks Dave- I owe you one, buddy!
