The one I have is WAY over priced at about $0.05. Like Bill said, it's a piece of pipe insulation held on by a small zip-tye. The denser, the better. I take a small nail, about 1/8" diameter, and grind the end flat. I then heat it in a torch flame until hot but not too hot. That's the trick. Too hot and the hole gets too big, not hot enough and the nail gets gummed up with partially molten foam. I use a vicegrips to grab the "cool" end of the nail and wave it through the flame and then quickly poke the foam, in and out. I then heat the nail tip for 4-5 more seconds before the next hole, repeating the process until all the holes are formed. The heat cauterizes the foam. The first one I made the nail was too hot and the holes were too big, causing the pellets to vibrate out when shooting. The second one was good and I've been using it for 1+ years. WadeS's lasted a year or so but he kept torquing the zip-tye causing it to not work as well. I just built him another last week with smaller holes and it's the best one to date. We used CA glue (superglue) to glue the cut ends of the foam together and it worked great. Be careful of the type of glue you use, some eat up foam quickly. Pointed or domed pellets skirts stick out about 1/16" while H-points and wadcutters are nearly flush with the foam. Just a light push into the foam with your fingertips allows you to grab the skirt to remove the pellet. Ours holds about 18-20 pellets. You don't want to make them too close or you will have difficulties grabbing just one. The picture shows one remaining H-point in the left/forward row and Superpoints in the right/rear row. My next one will be glued like WadeS's.
Hope this helps.
