Barrel diameter of the walther 1250 dominator???
« on: November 26, 2008, 06:02:07 AM »
Is there anyone out there who might be able to tell me what the outer barrel diameter is of the walther 1250 dominator or the RWS 850 air magnum. Im asking because i am looking at this compensator made to fit a walther 1250 dominator, RWS 850 air magnum, or the baretta Cx4 storm. I want to use this compensator on my .22 walther falcon hunter and I need to find out whether it'l fit the falcon hunters 15.5mm (.625) outer barrel diameter. I would very much appreciate it if anyone has some good suggestions or answers. I wouldnt mind if anyone might have a compensator suggestion for the walther falcon hunter.

It's a 15mm or 5/8" barrel.

SO... technically speaking I could verywell get away with using this compensator : http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/accessory.pl?accessory_id=1135 : and it would fit my walther falcon hunter smoothly. Thanks for the input, if anyonelse has any suggestions about what compenators i should use for this rifle i would also appreciate it.

Yup. It should work if the barrel is the same diameter. I have one of those mounted to my QB-79 and it works fine! Especially shrink tubed. hehe

I would suggest mounting the muzzle brake with a grub screw on a barrel cocker. Would be dangerous cocking it with the muzzle brake and have it come off the barrel at the bottom of your cocking stroke.

The Umarex compansator is Grub Srew mount. I meant shrink tubing the OD of the actual compensator  :o
